- Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Adele Sciortino now resides in Montreal. She is a certified master doll artist through the Professional Doll Guild, a member of ODACA and founding member of the Figurative Artists Consortium in Canada. She travels extensively between Canada and the United States giving her costuming workshop sand has now been invited to Australia, Russia, and Italy. Her works have been featured in Soft Dolls and Animals, Contemporary Doll Collector, United, Doll Crafter & Costuming, and Art Doll Quarterly. Her objective in teaching is to aid each student to reach a higher level in their own creativity. She is also the publisher for the "Free" quarterly newsletter "Creative Costuming".

Thank you for giving us such a wonderful and diverse offering of online classes to chose from.
Since you are originally from New Orleans, I'm sure you are aware that there is very little if anything in this area remotely like this and I for one am always on the hunt for online classes. (I'm from near N.O.).
Again, thank you and I'm preparing to sign up for one of the classes.
Also, thank you for the wonderful newsletter you publish. I've been a subscriber almost since the beginning.
